Epic browser - LASA



BANGALORE, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The internet browser war is only hotting up with time. After the new versions of browsers like Opera, Firefox and Chrome a browser with Indian origin has hit the bandwagon. The Epic browser has been made to cater to the need of the Indian web users. The developers of the browsers are of the opinion that it will appeal to the users who want a hassle free web experience for their work. The browser uses the Mozilla engine and it is the first web browser with an integrated antivirus. The browser also comes with a whopping 1500 Indian themes. The users of the browser can use several Indian languages to type.





The makers of the Epic Browser claim that it has faster download speed and browsing too. Since it has an integrated antivirus the browser warns a user when he tries to open a site that can contain malicious codes. This may save his PC from getting infected. The Epic Browser has been built by Bangalore- based company named Hidden Reflex. The company was set up by the year 2008. The company thinks that owing to its customization features and ease of access it will be lapped up both by newbie and veteran users. The browser has been released in the web.

Active Desktop Calendar - LASA


This application is a software calendar with appointments notes, tasks, alarms and contacts that provides seamless integration and interactivity with the desktop background. You can organize your data in layers and share them with other people on a local area network.

The program can integrate with Outlook to show its appointments and tasks on the desktop. There are options for changing calendar icons, fonts and colors, marking weekdays of choice and marking dates with notes and/or alarms. You can have a text only version of the calendar and choose between displaying one, two or three months on the desktop.
